A fun, relax by the pool wine.
We humbly present to you our first vintage of Sauvignon Blanc. There are two distinct styles of making Sauvignon Blanc. We hope you will find this wine to be a tropical bouquet of island fruits. This amazing fruit is from our vineyards on the old Lambert Ranch. This property was an original land grant from the Spanish King, and is a new addition to the Vezér Family Estate.
The attractive straw pigment with tinge of lavender grabs your eye. A spritz of grapefruit zest deceives the nose. When it reaches your palate it is an unexpected pleasure, with a sweet slightly crisp citrus followed by creamy coating of silky coconut milk. This unique fusion trailed by a lengthy oat and hazelnut finish pairs perfectly with spicy sushi rolls, curried meats, or deserts such as lemon cake and crème brulée.
A beautiful ruby red color . On the nose the wine shows plum, currant, cassis and subtle vanilla aromas. On the palate the wine seduces with flavors of candied plum, currant and mocha with soft round tannins and a lingering finish. A perfect match with lamb, beef or venison.
A deep purple core leading to a soft salmon pink rim. The nose is very lively with blackberry, rhubarb, smoke, and spice. The palate is domintated by fresh blackberry custard, pepper, and some subtle signs of the gamey note syrah is known for. It’s firm sweet tannins and nice complexity will pair well with venison, elk, lamb or duck.
A blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Zinfandel this wine has a nice dark ruby red core. It shows signs of red, blue, and black fruits on the nose, accompanied by subtle aromas of forest floor and vanilla. The palate presents nice jammy fruits, with fresh plum skin and mixed berry pie really leading the way. The tannins are well integrated making this a well rounded wine with a lingering finish.
Our barrel room select series uses unique barrel blends to show the complexity of the wines produced by Vezer. This wine is a dark crimson color with aromas of dried red cherry, cedar box, baking spice and vanilla bean. On the palate the wine shows big ripe red cherry flavors mingled with seductive undertones of currant jam and exotic spice. The wine finishes smooth with just the right balance of tannin and mouth watering acidity. This wine is the perfect match to your favorite grilled meats.
Suisun Valley is one of the oldest Appellations in North America, with soils and climate that makes even the finest wine regions of the world green with envy. 2007 delivers us again with another world class harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon.
In a blind tasting with a group of prestigious Sommeliers in San Francisco, this wine was indistinguishable between the 2007 Joseph Phelps Insignia, as both were rated 92 points.
You will find that due to the constant attention of our winemaker Gary Galleron, we recommend this wine to be saved only for your closest friends and family and on special occasions, when it can be most appreciated.
Our third vintage of estate La Salette exhibits classic Suisun Valley varietal character, the best of what this beautiful valley has to offer. Suisun Valley is rated as one of the premier appellations for Petite Sirah, and this wine shows why.
Our winemaker, Gary Galleron has produced another fantastic blend of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel. In a blind tasting with a group of prestigious Sommeliers in San Francisco, this wine was rated 92 points.
In the nose, one is first attracted to the ripe cherry, toasted oak, ripe plum and a hint of sweetness. The complex flavors are equally rich and attractive with great presence on the palate, wonderful balance on structure and a lively fruit finish.

Only a handful of vineyards in California grow the Verdelho grape. Verdelho has a very light oak taste, not to subdue the simply delightful honeysuckle savor. The aroma of peaches, pears, and apples all make your head dizzy with excitement. This brilliant straw-hued wine surges with apple peel, pear and magnolia aromas. Full with good concentration, this has tasty fresh pear and apple fruit on the palate and a clean, round finish with pleasing tart acidity.

A beautiful white wine that honors the long Portuguese family history that my wife Gloria and I share in common. Gloria’s family the Duarte’s and my mother’s family, the Olivera’s, come from both the main land and the islands where the Verdelho grape is grown. Only three vineyards that we know of grow this grape in California and we are very fortunate that our master wine maker has found us enough superb grapes to produce 300 cases of this outstanding wine that will be a signature of the VezĂ©r family white wine line. Verdelho has a very light oak, not to overcome the simply delightful berry taste. The aroma of peaches, pears and apples all make your head dizzy with excitement. Yet as with all Vezer wines you are surprised that a wine this smooth is not that sweet, it actually finishes off similar to the better known Pinot Grigio or the now popular unoaked Pinot Grigio.

In honor of our son John-John. We chose this particular wine for many reasons. Our Zinfandel, like John, is rich, full of texture and depth. When you spend time with John you’re left with the lingering taste of his beautiful personality. Our Zinfandel embodies that same personality, having a rich alluring texture, and yet leaving a humble buttery residue on the back of your tongue. Our fruit from this year’s Zinfandel was able to reach close to perfection, thanks to amazing weather conditions. Thus we felt it fitting to dedicate it in the loving memory of our son John-John.

Australian style Zinfandal
Triple Gold—Orange County, California State, Los Angeles International
2004 was a superb year for Zinfandel in Suisun Valley, especially for the Vezer Family Ranch. At the foot of the ranch lies Mark and Jeanine Petersen’s award winning Zinfandel vineyard. The Petersen’s have sold part of their Vineyards to the Vezer Family Trust. The Zinfandel this year follows the similar characteristics of 2003′s, but with the help of our master wine maker Peter Burford from Australia, we have given or dear friends an exquisite surprise the true exposure of the Zinfandel that allows the nakedness of the juice to tease your tastes with a smoothness that feels you have stroked an angel’s cheek, yet without the sweetness one would expect with such smoothness. Allowing you to truly enjoy the many variety of meals that this wine will enhance.
