Vezer Family is an originator and one of a few wineries in California that specialize in Barrel & Blending tours that actually include a “hands-on” Blending Experience. Barrel Blending  tour starts with extracting a base wine right from different varietal barrels, while your host shares insights of the art of wine making and how wine grape structure and the role of  the Barrel impacts the aromas and bouquet. The Blending and Tasting truly provides a  full appreciation of how all aspects from growing through aging to blending is perfected.

Laughs abound, whether owner Frank Vezer or Son-in-law and Cellar Master Jake or the Hospitality Room Staff tour and taste guests around the beautifully restored, 170 year old Blue Victorian property .  Tour also includes a ‘Palate Party’ with food pairing discussion and nibbles of cheese and chocolate. Grand finale is a tasting of Vezer Family Vineyard Port-Style wines … and if guests want, some Bocce Ball!.

Blending tours are daily, by appointment  at 5071 Suisun Valley Rd. Suisun Valley (Fairfield Ca).  Hours are 11am to 5pm Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.  Duration of tour and tasting is 45 minutes. Tasting pours are very generous, but responsible.
