The latest news on the Mankas Tapas & Steakhouse restaurant at Mankas Corner is that the anticipation is truly building. So, as promised, here is the latest update: Castle Rock Construction is almost complete with the restaurant remodel. Liz Vezer is working hard with the interior decorating and busy with the Ladies over at Simply Savvy, selecting the final furniture pieces and decorations. This week Liz will also be directing the painters as to the technique and the colors she is specifically looking for to enhance your dining experience.  However the most exciting news so far is that Kevin Johnson, the Managing Operator with the Nevada Steakhouse Company has secured Chef David who has worked at Michael Mina’s Las Vegas style restaurant  “Aquaâ€� and spent seven years with the Four Seasons Hotel Group in their finest restaurants.

 

As we speak, Kevin and David are putting the final touches on the Tapas & Steak Menu. All I can say Friends is there has never been anything like this in Solano County and you will not be disappointed. Chef David and Kevin are preparing dishes that will make your senses scream out with jubilation and will pare excellent with Vezer wines.

 

Schedule: February 3^rd there will be a small private invitation only dinner with some of the local dignitaries and local businesses. A few days later Kevin will open the restaurant to the Vezer Club Members and the public by no later than February 10^th 2012

 

If you are interested in reservations: Until Kevin’s website is up, please just send your email reservations requests to barbara@vezerpic.com. Kevin will personally respond back to you in order to confirm the exact date and time with you. Please do not assume your reservation is confirmed until Kevin Gets back to you and Gives you a Reservation Log Number and time.
