This wine presents the dramatic sensation of baked raspberry, black olive, roasted yellow pepper, and custard aromas and finishes with a tangy berry, cedar, and chocolate covered orange peel fade. A deep red Zinfandel with the spice of black pepper and wild cherry for the most sophisticate wine connoisseur but with a surprising smoothness that seduces even the most die hard white wine connoisseur.

2004 was a superb year for Zinfandel in Suisun Valley, especially for the Vezer Family Ranch. At the foot of the ranch lies Mark and Jeanine Petersen’s award winning Zinfandel vineyard. The Petersen’s have sold part of their Vineyards to the Vezer Family Trust. The Zinfandel this year follows the similar characteristics of 2003′s, but with the help of our master wine maker Peter Burford from Australia, we have given or dear friends an exquisite surprise the true exposure of the Zinfandel that allows the nakedness of the juice to tease your tastes with a smoothness that feels you have stroked an angel’s cheek, yet without the sweetness one would expect with such smoothness. Allowing you to truly enjoy the many variety of meals that this wine will enhance.

Suisun Valley is one of the oldest Appellations in North America, with soils and climate that makes even the finest wine regions of the world green with envy. The Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the valley benefits the most from these ideal conditions, and we are sure you will enjoy the unique characteristics of this valley fruit. Due to the constant attention of our cellar master, Issam, along with the quality of the Koch Vineyard, this wine displays the best qualities of this Valley, of which we are so proud.
This is an ideal match with chocolate or a dessert such as blackberry tart or raspberry sorbet.

This La Salette exhibits classic Suisun Valley varietal character, the best of what this beautiful valley has to offer. In the nose, one is first attracted to the ripe cherry, toasted oak, ripe plum and a hint of sweetness. The flavors are equally rich and attractive with great presence on the palate, wonderful balance on structure and a lively fruit finish.
“La Salette” in the language of our family means “never ending love” our mother. Like the teenage Portuguese bride that this wine is named after, the Petite Sirah is full of essence, just slightly softened by the warmth of our world famous Zinfandel which is part of the VezĂ©r Family Estate To our Mother with love.
Suisun Valley is one of the oldest Appellations in North America, with soils and climate that makes even the finest wine regions of the world green with envy. 2006 delivers us again with another world class harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon. You will find that due to the constant attention of our cellar master, Issam, along with the quality of the Koch Vineyard, that we recommend this wine to be saved only for your closest friends and family and on special occasions, when it can be most appreciated.

Dense blackberry and black pepper are evident in this our first bottling of Petite Sirah. Deeply colored and robust, the wine has more than enough fruit and acidity to guarantee longevity in the bottle.
Our Petite Sirah Vineyard is protected by our steep Valley hills which cradle the VezĂ©r Family Estate. So often Petite Sirah is considered only for the most complicated of wine lovers. However, with the VezĂ©r’s Estate Petite Sirah all will be able to enjoy its splendid fruit and soft seductive finishes.

A beautiful white wine that honors the long Portuguese family history that my wife Gloria and I share in common. Gloria’s family the Duarte’s and my mother’s family, the Olivera’s, come from both the main land and the islands where the Verdelho grape is grown. Only three vineyards that we know of grow this grape in California and we are very fortunate that our master wine maker has found us enough superb grapes to produce 300 cases of this outstanding wine that will be a signature of the VezĂ©r family white wine line. Verdelho has a very light oak, not to overcome the simply delightful berry taste. The aroma of peaches, pears and apples all make your head dizzy with excitement. Yet as with all Vezer wines you are surprised that a wine this smooth is not that sweet, it actually finishes off similar to the better known Pinot Grigio or the now popular unoaked Pinot Grigio.
In honor of our son John-John. We chose this particular wine for many reasons. Our Zinfandel, like John, is rich, full of texture and depth. When you spend time with John you’re left with the lingering taste of his beautiful personality. Our Zinfandel embodies that same personality, having a rich alluring texture, and yet leaving a humble buttery residue on the back of your tongue. Our fruit from this year’s Zinfandel was able to reach close to perfection, thanks to amazing weather conditions. Thus we felt it fitting to dedicate it in the loving memory of our son John-John.
Suisun Valley is one of the most versatile appellations in the world. Therefore, it is not surprising that we also have some of the finest Pinot Grigio outside of Old Italy. Vezér family has become known for some very fine red wines. However, our white wine style is also widely sought after for its semi-dry, un-oaked fruit forward taste, complimented by a crisp finish.
We humbly present to you our first vintage of Sauvignon Blanc. There are two distinct styles of making Sauvignon Blanc. We hope you will find this wine to be a tropical bouquet of island fruits. This amazing fruit is from our vineyards on the old Lambert Ranch. This property was an original land grant from the Spanish King, and is a new addition to the Vezér Family Estate.
Only a handful of vineyards in California grow the Verdelho grape. Verdelho has a very light oak taste, not to subdue the simply delightful honeysuckle savor. The aroma of peaches, pears, and apples all make your head dizzy with excitement. This brilliant straw-hued wine surges with apple peel, pear and magnolia aromas. Full with good concentration, this has tasty fresh pear and apple fruit on the palate and a clean, round finish with pleasing tart acidity.
